What's "Deemed" Reasonable

First off here are some of Bre's Senior Pictures

I'm having a really hard time deciding which ones I like best.

I have no idea HOW she got so damned beautiful.
Last week was a trying one for use here in good ole' Greenville. My daughter got sent home from school not once...but TWICE for inappropriate attire. Our dress code is very vague....It states something to the effect of "What's Deemed reasonable". The only CONCRETE thing it says is that skirts must be below the finger tips. Well bra is a fashion expert of sorts....She doesn't just grab something out of her closet and throw it on...NOPE...not BRE...She Picks outfits..."LOOKS"...she is always coordinated from make-up to hair to cloths to shoes... She puts a great deal of time and effort into each and every selection and she always looks like she just stepped out of the salon or away from some photo shoot. She is far from the IDEAL size...definitely NOT a size 6 but she always looks terrific. She is quite...ummmm...shall we say....Voluptuous. The first time she got sent home she was wearing a pretty coral colored tank top, one of those formed ones with the cups in it...with a 'mega' bra under it and a black V-necked sweater over it...She was told by one of the female teachers that she was showing too much 'skin'...Did she have cleavage? YES of course she did...she's a D for christ sake...it is impossible for her to HIDE that and she shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable about it either...There were at least a half dozen girls in school the same day with lower cut shirts on but they did not get sent home because they were all "tiny" with no chests. The second time it was for a short denim skirt...the same one that she has worn countless times and DOES pass the finger tip test...Bre is 5'10" with very long legs...so YES again...there was alot of skin showing...but NOT inappropriate...tasteful and stylish...She was told to go home and put 'skins' on under the skirt....AGAIN many girls were in school that day with short skirts on (happened to be in the 60's that day) who did NOT get sent home. AGAIN...they were all small girls. I was IRATE...I wanted to march right into the school and ask them what to hell there problem is with my KID... She gets good grades...she is respectful to the other kids and to the teachers...she keeps her mouth shut...she is in key club and on year book staff...she plays basketball...AND yet they find it necessary to single her out because of her attire...I was LIVID!!!! Bre, however, did NOT want me to go anywhere near the school...and I did as she asked and stayed clear. She spend the entire day home crying and feeling bad about herself...She has decided that they school thinks she is too FAT for such clothing and that she dressed 'skanky', which isn't true at all, but to a teen aged girl who has always been a bit overweight that is where he brain went. I hate that just a couple of words from some 'unthinking' people could strip her of her self esteem so quickly and with so little thought. NOBODY at the school has told her what a great job she is doing adjusting to her new curriculum...her new surroundings...how glad they are that she has decided to come back to good ole' GHS...NOPE...they just pick on her choice of clothing...WTF!!!!!
