STRANGE? No doubt!!!
Got this meme from Sheri and thought it would be a good thing to leave you all with...I leave for vacation on Sunday...YIPPEE FOR ME!!!
Anyway...here goes...6 STRANGE things about ME.
1. I can NOT leave my house in the morning without making my bed. The rest of the house can be a disaster but my bed MUST be made. This is kinda strange since I don't think I made my bed more then a dozen times all thru my teen age years. haha.
2. I talk so fast that people look at me funny...Yup...it's true. This is quite an issue since a good part of my day is spent on the phone...being NICE. I have to make a concious effort to slooooowwww dooowwwwnnn when I answer the phone, I've been known to trip over my tongue more then once in any given conversation. Unfortunately I have passed this trait on to my baby girl. Why is it that the bad things are always what get passed on?
3. I stare at the tv, sometimes for hours, and have NO idea what I'm watching. If hubby askes me "what'd they say" I truely can not tell him because NOTHING has registered.
4. I can get completely lost in a good book. I 'become' the story, I even start reading (in my head of course) in whatever dialect the book is in. I can NOT put down a good book until I'm finished, I've been known to stay up all night reading. Hubby laughs at me and says..."You know the good thing about a book is that even IF you put it down...the story will still be there!"...isn't he funny?
5. I hate to talk on the phone...remember this is how I make a living!
6. I am willing to listen to the problems of ANYONE...really ANYONE...even people that I don't know will tell me their life story, I must just look or sound like I CARE. Total strangers who call the office will tell me all about their recent divorce...or the problem that they have with their kid...or that their spouse has cheated on them....GUESS WHAT PEOPLE? If I don't know you (these people I'll listen too all day)..I really do NOT care about your problems. Maybe this makes me a bad person...but I can live with that.
Ok...soooo looking back at this list maybe I'm not all that STRANGE...hmmmmmm...or maybe I'm just blocking the really strange stuff.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post I'll be leaving for vacation. We leave the 23 and will be back on the 30th. Royal Carribean Cruise with hubby and baby girl. I'm very excited. Will touch base when I get back.
