Utopia
The Perfect week end!
Started out with my baby girl and her boyfriend showing up at 6, followed by my 'good' sister and her family at 6:30. We all went to the schools production of Cinderella, it wasn't terrific, but was certainly worth the $5 bucks it cost for admission. After the play we went back to my house for a very STRESS FREE chat, very light and funny with nothing to bring you down. Sis and fam left and I relaxed and watched a movie with the kids.
Saturday started with a trip to Curves with my 'lady' friends with more lighthearted conversation and several REAL belly laughs. When we got home I got a Pedicure...yippee for me...My tootsies look B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. Waited for the kids to get up and dressed and then we headed for Bangor to see a movie. We dropped boyfriend off at home so he could do some stuff for his dad. I was very happy to see that baby girls attitude stayed bright and sunny even when boyfriend wasn't attached to her hip. She was bubbly even...telling me all sorts of things that I'd missed out on while she'd been at my sisters. We met the big guy for dinner and he was even had a bright sunny attitude. We all sat at dinner chatting it up while the kids tried to embarrass their father...One conversatoin went sort of like this.
Big Guy..."I went down to the frat last night"
Baby Girl..."Did you have a good time"
Big guy..."yeah it was kewl"
Baby Girl..."Did you get shitfaced"
Big guy..."had a few"
Baby Girl..."Did ya get laid"
Big guy....hahahaha...Look at dads face!
Hubby poo had to pick his jaw up off the table...Baby Girl was VERY pleased with herself for causing the shocked look on her dad's face...She just LOVES to shock him! By the way...Big guy NEVER did answer that question.
We all went to the movies after and saw Benchwarmers...It was a riot, all of us laughed our asses off...well not literally, I checked and mine ass, unfortunately, is STILL there!!!! Dropped big guy off at campus and settled in for the 90 minute ride home...it was great.
Baby girl left a bit ago to head back to Dexter. This whole thing is working out better then I'd expected. She is doing terrific and whenever she is Here with us she is HAPPY! AND she is on HIGH HONORS...that would be STRAIGHT A's. I am very proud of her and more importantly SHE is proud of herself. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
