Christmas Meme

I borrowed...ummm Stole this meme from Larry...thanks!!! I am hoping that taking some time to think about my answers might help to get me out of the holiday SLUMP that I've been in.

Q: What is your favorite holiday movie?
A: The Sound Of Music, you may not consider this, technically, a holiday movie, but growing up we always watched this movie as a family during the holiday season, we would all sit on the floor in the living room, my siblings and my parents, and watch quietly and smile. After having my own children I carried on the tradition...It's on this week end...YIPPEE!
Q: What is your favorite holiday song (artist and title)?
A: My Favorite Things - Julie Andrews from, of course, The Sound Of Music. We would all sing this, poorly of course, along with the movie. My mood is improving just thinking about this.
Q: What is the best holiday gift you were ever given and why?
A: A silver locket. It's my favorite because it was the first gift the my kids every picked out for me ALONE...with no help or prompting from anyone. And because they were so proud of themselves for having done it.
Q: Do you have someone special to kiss at the stroke of midnight on New Years?
A: Yes, my hubby and my kids.
Q: Name of your favorite reindeer?
A: Strange question...ummm...let me think...You know...I have no PERSONAL relation ship with any of them....plus I don't want to slight any of them either so I think I'll take the 5th on this one.
Q: Favorite holiday food?
A: Mom's soft molasses cookies, she's gone now but I have her recipe nearly perfected. I love everything about them, the feel of the dough, the smell of them cooking, decorating them...but MOST of all the memories that always come flooding back to me when I make them.
Q: Snow day-- Cuddle by the fire or Hand me a snowball?
A: Cuddle by the fire...with a good book and soft music playing.
Q: What was your New Years resolution for this year and did you stick to it?
A: The same resolution for the past 10 years....To become MORE healthy and yes, I have...for the most part anyway. I've been taking baby steps towards my goal for years.
Q: Is there a Santa Claus?
A: If there is I wish the bastard would start paying his bills.
Q: Present, or stocking stuffer?
A: I like both, I'm just a kid at heart.

Ok...it did help a little, I had a smile on my face during most of the post...Thanks again Larry.
