Stop The World...I Want To GET OFF

My baby girl starts her senior year on Wednesday...I am so NOT ready for this. She will be moving back to Dexter on Monday night and we will be back to 'week-ends'. I hate not being able to give her hug before she goes to bed at night. I hate not knowing what she's wearing to school in the morning. I hate not knowing what she's having for breakfast. I hate not having 'day to day' interaction. We talk on the phone, IM on the computer, I've even learned to text message on my cell phone. It all helps but it's still not the same. We have all gone through so many changes this summer...it's been hard for me to adjust to it all. In case I've never mentioned it before I HATE CHANGE!!!!! I know that I'll get used to it...again... I am almost relieved that it's happening soon...the anticipation has been killing me. With any luck at this time next month I'll be saying "everything is great"..."Bre's grades are terrific"..."we are all happy"...YUP....I've just declared it...That's exactly what I'll be saying in a month!!!! YUP YUP YUP!!!!
Here are a few of Bre's choices for year book picture.

I Think she's going to use the one above, She and her honey both like it best

This is my favorite

Her dad likes this one best

Update

Didn't realize how long it had been...I'd like to say that my life has been just too exciting and fulfill for me to spare the time that it takes to post...but that would be a lie...and GREAT BIG LIE! I've just been extremely unmotivated for the past few weeks.

The shopping trip with my sister and our daughters was a HUGE success. We had a terrific time. Both girls got alot of good deals and some really cute outfits...they will be the best dressed in their respective classes...my baby will be a senior...sisters will be a freshman. I can NOT believe that these two girls have grown up so quickly and it amazes and excites me that they will spend a year together at the same school. I hate that Bre won't be in my house during the week but it is great that the two girls will share a full year of school memories.

Dustin is settling right into his new apartment and his first attempt at being 'grown-up'. He seems to be enjoying it and though I'm still not happy about him taking a year off from school I'm no longer worried about him...I know that he's gonna be JUST fine.

Summer hasn't been a great success for me. Last summer was so fun and relaxing...It's amazing how much difference a year can make.

Well...that's it for now...I really should get to work...haha

SHOP till you DROP

Bre (baby girl), Becca (niece), Terri (Sister) and I are all headed to New Hampshire tomorrow for our, now, annual school shopping trip. The girls just love to shop at all the outlet stores down there. They always find good deals and wind up with stuff that not everyone else will be wearing. I HATE shopping....but I love time spent with Bre, Becca and Terri so I'm willing to withstand the torture of shopping in exchange for time with them. Summer is wizzing by and Bre will be headed back to school, and my sister's house, before I know it...I'm not dealing very well with it!!!! OMYGOD...SHE'S A SENIOR!!!!! I plan on thoroughly enjoying the next couple of days with her. I've promised myself that there will be NO serious talks about her future...her 'boys'...school...feelings....etc. Just light and fluffy chatter. With any luck there will be SMILES all around the entire time.
I don't ask for much, really I don't...Just a stress free couple of days with the ones I love...That's NOT TOO much... is it?....
Come on...TELL ME IT ISN'T...come on...even if
you have to 'fib' a little. :)
